Which non-profits can join Prescott-Russell Volunteers?
All non-profit organizations working within the Prescott-Russell territory are welcome to join Prescott-Russell Volunteers, regardless of their activity sector. For example:
- Arts and culture: cultural centres, public libraries, museums and historical societies, concert halls and art galleries
- Education and sports: schools and amateur sports leagues
- Environment and agriculture: parks and nature trails, community gardens, farmers’ markets, agricultural fairs
- Festivals and events: annual festivals, and community, cultural, sports or tourist events
- Health, community and social services: hospital, long-term care homes, daycare centres
The following are not eligible:
- For profit organizations
- Individuals seeking personal support services
- Political parties
